Fans are clamoring for “Rick and Morty” season 4 especially after it was announced that a total of 70 episodes were ordered for Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon to produce. This is equivalent to around six or seven more seasons since the episodes would be divided for the future installments.
It has been more than a year since the third season concluded. So, there are fans who already expressed frustration for the delay of “Rick and Morty” season 4. Thus, when Adult Swim recently uploaded a teaser on Twitter, it somehow provided some comfort and it revived the viewer’s excitement. Avid fans of the series think this is an indication that the fourth season is finally airing soon.

However, it seems that the assumption was wrong and the teaser was not released to prepare fans for its premiere. In fact, the clip did not come with detail or anything that refers to “Rick and Morty” season 4.
In any case, while there is no update as to when “Rick and Morty” season 4 is exactly coming, it was reported that the series would not be streamed on Netflix anymore. As Deadline reported, Adult Swim signed a deal with UK’s Channel 4. So, when the fourth installment arrives, the network will broadcast the adult animation for its British viewers.
Commenting on “Rick and Morty” season 4’s exclusive coverage on Channel 4, the network’s program director, Ian Katz, said: “Rick and Morty is one of the most anarchic, ingenious and original shows around and the breakthrough animated hit of recent years. I’m thrilled that it’s coming to Channel 4 and E4.”
Additionally, Metro mentioned that, while Channel 4 will have the exclusive rights to air “Rick and Morty” season 4, the first three seasons will remain on Netflix. Thus, fans in the U.K., who were not able to see the previous episodes, can binge-watch via the popular streaming site.
“Rick and Morty” season 4 has no premiere date yet and series writer Ryan Ridley revealed, in an interview with Detroit Cast last year, that the show is not likely to be released soon. The earliest time that it will be back is late 2019.
