‘Rick and Morty’ Season 4 News & Update: Animation Head Announces They Are Back at Work; Here’s the Predicted Release Date

Rick and Morty

There has been lots of speculations about “Rick and Morty” Season 4 since Adult Swim or its creators rarely give an update these days. Perhaps, the only thing that keeps fans thrilled as they wait for the fourth installment to arrive are the video clips that they post on social media.

However, these short videos are somehow misleading because some fans think that they are teasers for “Rick and Morty” season 4 or they are related to the upcoming sequel but unfortunately, they are not. Recently, Adult Swim posted a video that shows Rick as a shark and Morty as the helpless fish then they transformed to more animals like a bird, a hippo and even Godzilla before finally turning into a galaxy where Rick is the black hole that is sucking up Morty. Many believed that this teaser will lead to the announcement of the show’s release date but that did not happen so it only made fans feel frustrated.

Then again, there is some good news after the disappointments. Two weeks ago, “Rick and Morty” season 4 head for animation updated his social media with a new update about the series. Eric Bofa Nfon who works for Bardel Entertainment, an animation studio based in Vancouver. The company is in charge of the animating the series so it plays a big part in determining when it will be released.

On Jan. 11, he tweeted, “Casual Meeting. First week back! Feels great.” The animation supervisor also added the hashtag #RaM4 which is obviously referring to “Rick and Morty” season 4. Now, being back to work only means one thing – that the production of the series is still in progress so it may take time before they finish.

Lastly, with this fact, it seems that it will take longer for Adult Swim to announce any release date for “Rick and Morty” season 4. But who knows, maybe they will surprise the viewers again with their unannounced premiere.
