The next adventures of the grandfather-and-grandson duo are still in production. And fans eagerly waiting for the release of “Rick and Morty” season 4 are desperately trying to see if there are any hidden clues in the latest teaser.

Adult Swim, “Rick and Morty” season 4’s official network, released another vague promo video on Tuesday. The 15-second teaser shows two syringes with samples from “Szechuan Sauce” and “C-137” being mixed up in an experiment.

The first one is obviously a nod to the McDonald’s limited-edition sauce that suddenly became extremely popular because of the show. The other item seemingly refers to a sample taken from a Morty living in dimension C-137. Whether these are arcs are going to be revisited in “Rick and Morty” season 4 is unclear.

As expected, the replies section for the latest teaser was flooded with questions and demands that the network announce when “Rick and Morty” season 4 will premiere. There are also a number of fans who thought or joked about finding “hidden clues” about the release date.

By the end of the video, the initials “AS” are shown. Due to how it is stylized, some thought it meant “A5” or April 5th as “Rick and Morty” season 4’s premiere date. The beginning of the teaser also showed a screen filled with random spores. Someone joked about discovering a pattern that makes up the word “August.”

It is difficult to guess when “Rick and Morty” season 4 will actually be released because the show does not really follow a specific pattern. But the creators of the show have always been honest that finishing the production of the series will take a really long time.

Recently, “Rick and Morty” season 4 was speculated to be released in summer as Bardel Entertainment has apparently started working on the show’s animations. However, this information still needs to be verified.
