Hosted by Executive Chef Devon Capili, Restaurant Manager Ashley Rosenbaum, and with beverages by Flying Dog Brewery, the special event offers guests a night of indulgence as they savor the culinary team’s signature seasonal dishes.

The specially-crafted five-course menu, paired with craft beer from locally-based Frederick, MD brewery Flying Dog, begins with Lumpia Shanghai Chicken and Shrimp accompanied by a light Dogtoberfest Marzen. The next dish is a Spicy Ahi Tuna Tartare, paired with a Raging Bitch Belgian IPA, followed by Citrus Brine Pork Tenderloin, paired with Blood Orange Ale. Next on offer, are Braised Beef Short Ribs accompanied by the 20th Anniversary Snake Dog IPA. Finally, for dessert, guests can indulge in a delectable Chocolate Espresso Marquis, paired with the Gonzo Imperial Porter.
Born out of Renaissance Hotel’s partnership with acclaimed chef and TV personality Andrew Zimmerman, host of the Travel Channels’ Bizarre Food series, the Navigator’s Table Dinner Series is a reflection of the brand’s focus on “Business Unusual.” The table décor, unique food presentation, unexpected touches and hosted conversation all serve to create a culinary event that celebrates the culture and art of gastronomy. Through this, the meal is elevated to become a curated experience that is part TED-talk, and part culinary discovery.
The Navigator’s Table Dinner Series promises to be a night of innovative food and drink, blending local flavors with the culinary craft of the hotel’s expertly trained team. Dive deep into the menu and savor a night of exquisite pairings, designed to showcase some of the best flavors of the region. Presented by Executive Chef Devon Capili, the event takes place November 7th at 7:00 pm at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel, and is priced at $95 per person plus tax & gratuity.
