SPOKANE, Wash., March 21, 2016 -- RLHC (Red Lion Hotels Corporation) (NYSE:RLH) today announced the Red Lion Inn & Suites Spokane has completed its 9-month renovation and is now open.
“The former Spokane House has undergone a complete renovation from top to bottom,” said Pintu Bath, an owner of this hotel as well as the Red Lion Hotel Seattle-Renton. “We have had lots of interest in this hotel with locals dropping by to take a look at the improvements.”
"This property has a historic presence in the Spokane market," said RLHC Senior Vice President and Chief Franchise Officer Brian Quinn. "Because the hotel is so well placed, adjacent to Spokane’s downtown corridor as well as the airport, we expect to see a more competitive hospitality environment emerge given the growing leisure and business travel market in Spokane."
The Red Lion Inn & Suites Spokane, 4301 West Sunset Blvd, is located in Eastern Washington just four miles east of the Spokane International Airport. The hotel features 89 newly renovated rooms, fitness and business centers as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and breakfast.
Spokane is a growing metro area with companies like Providence Health Systems, Avista Utilities, Itron and higher education such as Gonzaga University, Washington State University and Eastern Washington University. The city is well-known for its annual Bloomsday road race and Hoopfest, the world’s largest three-on-three basketball tournament.
