R3 blockchain consortium has announced that Corda training is now available globally. The training is an intensive and structured two-day course for developers that offer key skills to build and develop financial grade applications on R3 Corda platform.
The Corda platform went open source in last November that allowed global developer community to access its source code and encourage collaboration, review, and contribution to the platform. The courses will be delivered in a series of modules.
The course modules will offer enrolled students with a solid conceptual and practical understanding of Corda and the development of CorDapps.
The proposed course modules include an introduction to distributed ledger technology (DLT) and Corda platform, a review of the key library types and interfaces provided by Corda, Corda Node and how it is designed and its purpose, how to develop CorDapps by understanding Corda plugin framework, among others.
The CorDapp will be developed in Java and thus the students who are enrolling must have intermediate programming ability in Java or similar. They need not have a prior knowledge of DLT or blockchain technology.
The training is available in each of Corda’s global hubs in London, New York, and Singapore on a recurring monthly timeframe. The applications are limited to 20 students in order to ensure mentoring capabilities. The course fees are priced at £2,300 for London hub and US$3000 for New York and Singapore hubs.
