Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in May, and he was already christened earlier this month. Now, barely three months after the baby was born, it was rumored that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would make another announcement soon as baby no. 2 is coming.
It was even said that Harry and Meghan are planning to reveal the good news when they return from their official trip from Africa. The couple is already preparing for their trip, and Archie is also coming with them for they may stay there for a while. The family is expected to leave the Frogmore Cottage this fall to fulfill their duties in the second-largest continent.
Baby announcement coming up from the Sussex Royal?
According to New Idea, Katie Nicholl, a royal biographer, stated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are bound to have a big family. She said that insiders told her that since they want to have more kids, they are likely to announce pregnancy early next year.
“They absolutely want siblings for Archie, so possibly we will have a pregnancy announcement for Meghan and Harry sometime next year," Nicholl said. “But for the moment, the focus is obviously on Archie.”

While Nicholl predicted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would welcome their second baby next year, Express reported that the latter might already be pregnant and there are signs to prove this. Based on the report, one indication is the couple’s wish to have a big family. Since they are aiming to have more kids, they could have planned the baby no. 2 already thus the Duchess of Sussex may be expecting now, or it may come any time soon.
Finally, although there is no solid evidence that Meghan Markle is pregnant at this time, she and Prince Harry will definitely have another child soon as predicted by royal experts. The logic on why the couple is likely to make a new baby announcement in no time actually makes sense because when they leave for Africa in a few months, they will be on their own and will have more time together.
