“With 50 and 60hz products, ranging from 20 kWe to 1.2 MW of power, we’re presenting our most complete and advanced product range yet at this year’s POWER-GEN,” said Jeremy Lessaris, PSI Vice President of Marketing and Communications. “The 3.4-liter, 4.3-liter and 8.8-liter engines that we’re showcasing offer unprecedented power in their class.”
PSI designed the 3.4-liter and 4.3-liter systems to provide greater efficiency and power than previous engines. The new 3.4-liter engine delivers power in the range of 30–60 kWe, while the 4.3-liter model has a power range of 40–50 kWe. Both engines are available for stationary and mobile applications.
PSI is also featuring its 8.8-liter engine, which offers an extended power range up to 180 kWe. The company’s industrial line also includes .97-liter, 3.0-liter and 5.7-liter engines.
Mr. Lessaris noted that PSI offers OEMs the most extensive product line in the industry, with expanded standby, prime and continuous power ratings. The new engine includes enhancements for prime and continuous power, dual-fuel auto switchover, brushless alternators, a serpentine self-tensioning fan belt, and advanced diagnostics for improved uptime.
PSI is also providing new lean-burn standby and prime ratings for all of its heavy-duty engines. The PSI Heavy-Duty line also includes 8.1-liter, 11.1-liter, 14.6-liter, 18.3-liter and 21.9-liter models, all of which offer NFPA 110.1 and UL2200 compliance and advanced controls and emission systems.
