Polish retail sales likely to have grown 6.5 pct in March

Polish retail sales data for the month of March is set to release tomorrow. According to an Erste Group Research, retail sales are likely to have risen 6.5 percent year-on-year. The Easter effect and consumer sentiment remaining high should be positive for the level of household spending.

“We believe that 2Q19 growth could remain around 4.5 percent, as the monthly indicators suggest a strong beginning to the current quarter”, said Erste Group Research.
