Poland's current account to slightly improve in October

Poland's current account balance is likely to show a deficit of -605mn EUR in the month of October as per the market consensus expectations, trade balance is likely to be -178mn EUR, while Exports are 15450m EUR and imports are 15629 mn Euros.

There was a neutral inflow in EU funds, in which Poland recieved a minor part of 0.3mn EUR in October current transfers.

"We estimate a current account deficit of around -€680m in October. On the trade account we expect a slight surplus of €32m", estimates Societe Generale.
