The video game industry has existed for decades and with that comes really old games from different consoles. For those who still like to play those games, finding the original systems for their cartridge counterparts can be challenging and expensive. With the “Retro Freak Premium” though, gamers can play their favorite retro games on one console.
Right now, the console is only available in Japan and usually costs about $225. However, as of writing this article, it’s on sale and the price has gone down to $199. Shipping fees and taxes are not included though, so buyers are advised to keep that in mind. A Popular Mechanics article also notes that the console will not likely come to America any time soon because of certain laws in place.
With the recent bout of high-definition gaming consoles which offer amazing graphics and fluid framerates, the world of video games has come a long way from the 8-bit titles that existed decades ago. However, though those games are old, there are many who still want to play them.

As such, something like the “Retro Freak Premium” is a good answer to those who want to play old games that run on consoles it supports like Sega Genesis, SNES and Famicon, to name a few.
The unit also supports Gameboy games and games that ran on the old PC game engine. So it certainly sticks to its all-in-one marketing title. Finally, the unit can come in 720p and is equipped with its own internal memory.
