As a leading crypto exchange offering services in spot, derivatives, copy trading, and grid trading, BingX operates in more than 100 countries and regions.
NEWS token plays a vital role in the PUBLISH Protocol ecosystem. It is used for minting NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and powering various blockchain-based applications such as PUBLISHiD and PUBLISHlink. PUBLISHiD is a DID-based service for journalists, while PUBLISHlink is a web widget that rewards news readers with NEWS tokens for reading and sharing articles.
PUBLISH, established in 2018 as a response to declining newspaper revenues and closures, is a global technology media company. Since its inception, it has developed several blockchain-based solutions for the newspaper industry, including but not limited to a DID-based press credentialing system for journalist-members of the Journalists Association of Korea and the Korea Internet Newspaper Association. More recently, PUBLISH CEO Sonny Kwon spoke on "Future of Journalism based on blockchain" at "World Journalists Conference 2023” and signed a memorandum of agreement with the Mongolian Journalists' Federation to develop a DID-based press credentialing system for the local Mongolian media industry.
Commenting on the listing, PUBLISH CEO Sonny Kwon expressed the company's commitment to expanding the PUBLISH Protocol ecosystem globally through its partnership with BingX.
