Fans will watch how the battle between Tsukasa and Satoshi will be decided in “Food Wars” season 4, episode 9. But that is unlikely the only highlight of the episode considering that it is titled “The First and Second Seats.”
The title refers to the characters that currently hold the position, Tsukasa and Rindo, respectively. This means that “Food Wars” season 4 episode 9 will at least lead to the beginning of the Regiment de Cuisine’s final stage.
'Food Wars’ season 4 episode 9 spoilers: Tsukasa offers Satoshi a chance to avoid expulsion
The match card between Tsukasa and Satoshi needs to be settled first before jumping into the start of the 5th Bout. Their culinary theme is wild rabbit. While Satoshi manages to create a very impressive Japanese dish, Tsukasa simply has the upper hand in “Food Wars” season 4, episode 9. Wild rabbit is a very common ingredient in French cuisine, which happens to be Tsukasa’s expertise.
Before the judges decide, Tsukasa would give Satoshi an interesting offer in “Food Wars” season 4, episode 9. The Elite Ten First Seat offers the latter a chance to avoid expulsion if he agrees to join Central once the Rebels lose the Regiment de Cuisine. There might also be a brief flashback to Tsukasa’s childhood establishing how he has been an odd kid, but that trait only helps him as a chef. In the end, Satoshi declines the offer, and he eventually loses the match.
'Food Wars’ season 4 episode 9: Sanzaemon decides 5th Bout as the final round
The defeat of Takumi and Satoshi in the 4th Bout evens the field leaving the Rebels and Central, each with two chefs still in the game. Regiment de Cuisine is, technically, a last-man-standing contest between two teams. However, like in the manga, Sanzaemon will probably announce in “Food Wars” season 4, episode 9 that the 5th Bout is going to be the final round of the competition.
Each duo will fight as a single unit, but every chef will prepare a dish because each team will have to whip up an hors d’oeuvre and a main dish. This means that Erina and Soma will be up against the First and Second Seats — Tsukasa and Rindo — in “Food Wars” season 4, episode 9 that will be released on Saturday, Dec. 7.
