“Overlord” Season 3 Episode 13 will cap off the installment’s story with Ainz set to be the new ruler of E-Rantel. While this may be an exciting development for Ainz himself, fans will yet again be disappointed. This time, however, it’s not going to be because of bad CGI but by how one-sided the fight is going to be, Otaku Art reported,
It can be recalled that followers of the shonen series were left dissatisfied by how the studio handled the animation side of things in the previous episode, with poorly executed CGI being the culprit for the distaste. Episode 12 was built to be a riveting one-sided bloodbath, although when it aired, it was anything but. Sure, the Dark Youngs went on a killing spree and slaughtered a lot of soldiers but it didn’t really feel like it. And with “Overlord” Season 3 Episode 13 set to be another quick exchange, it seems that the current installment will end on a low note.
In the final episode, Ainz is going to face Gazef. The warrior was once allied to the powerful sorcerer but now their path has brought them face to face against each other. While it’s expected that Gazef will not stand a chance against Ainz, he actually wields a sword that can potentially kill the overpowered sorcerer. What’s more, the swordsman will also be using an attack in “Overlord” Season 3 Episode 13 that Vestia Croft Di Lofan created.
But even with Gazef having both of these advantages, Ainz is going to kill him in the blink of an eye. He’ll do this by freezing time and casting Instant Death upon the warrior. The fight will be over just like that, with witnesses again in awe of how Ainz is able to end the conflict in such fashion. “Overlord” Season 3 Episode 13 is going to air on Oct. 2, while the studio remains quiet about when “Overlord” Season 4 is going to be released.
