“Outlander” season 4 episode 6 is looking like a very exciting installment, thanks to some returning characters. One of the obvious episode highlights include Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) bonding time with a boy named William (Oliver Finnegan). Unfortunately, their moment together will end up in trouble.
Jamie and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will be reunited with familiar faces in “Outlander” season 4 episode 6. Lord John Grey (David Berry) arrives at the Fraser’s Ridge and he will be needing Claire’s medical expertise.
The official “Outlander” season 4 episode 6 synopsis confirms Lord John’s arrival but with an “unexpected traveling companion.” This obviously points to William, Jamie’s biological son.
Meanwhile, Claire will diagnose Lord John is infected with measles in “Outlander” season 4 episode 6. They are not exactly friendly to one another simply because of the twisted ways the lives of Jamie, Claire, and Lord John are intertwined. But, knowing Claire, it will not stop her from helping the uninvited visitor.
Since measles is very infectious, Claire will advise Jamie and William to leave while she treats Lord John. This gives Jamie the chance to bond with her secret son. Unfortunately, William unwittingly violates a rule leading to an altercation between Jamie and the Native Americans in “Outlander” season 4 episode 6.
William catches a fish from a river covered by an area protected by the Native Americans. Jamie realizes they are at a wrong place but it will be too late for the two of them to leave. The “Outlander” season 4 episode 6 implies that Native Americans will arrive soon after William announces his catch and will attempt to impose punishment for trespassing.
With the Frasers’ relationship with the Native Americans, it is interesting how this sequence will be resolved. Hopefully, Jamie finds an amicable solution to save his son in “Outlander” season 4 episode 6.
The “Outlander” season 4 episode 6 promo video also briefly shows an upset Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix). It seems like Jamie will finally tell him the truth about William. Murtagh, Jamie, and Claire are very close, which explains why the older Fraser will be highly frustrated upon learning that the couple had been lying to him. “Blood of My Blood” will air on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m. ET on Starz.
