The Wano arc in “One Piece” is already at its peak because by this time, Kurozumi Orochi has been beheaded already. What’s interesting in this turn of events is that - it was not even Luffy, the Straw Hat Pirates, or even the samurais who eliminated the villain, but it was his own ally, Kaido.
Kaido’s big plans and manga delay
It turned out that Kaido has bigger plans, and this was actually what he was talking about when he declared his “Onigashima Project.” Finally, it was revealed that he is planning to make Wano great by waging war and conquering the world. And apparently, Orochi is not included in his big picture for the future.

Unfortunately, it was announced that “One Piece” 986 will be delayed for a week once more. It was supposed to be out by July 26 but the date of release has been moved to Aug. 3, as per One Piece Fandom.
The manga’s creator and writer Eiichiro Oda has been delaying the release dates more frequently these days. He said before that one of the reasons was the current coronavirus pandemic since they can’t work as usual. Oda said that the situation also frustrates him since the manga industry is also affected.

Via Reddit, one fan suggested that Kiku was crying because after she Kanjuro because the truth was revealed due to his death. It was said that Kanjuro was not a traitor after all, and he was a good man in reality. Finally, in “One Piece” chapter 986, fans will see more of Yonko Emperor Alliance led by Big Mom and Kaido. It was further predicted that Yamato will never join the best pirates and rather, she might be the one who will kill her own father.
