“One Piece” chapter 968 was not released on schedule, but fans are assured that it is returning in a few more days. It will still be about Roger and Oden, but the story will get interesting as their backstory is coming to an end already.
The information about the delay was posted on Reddit, so fans know by now that there is no story for this week. “One Piece” chapter 968 may also reveal what happened when the Straw Hat Pirates disappeared on the Wano Port when they were supposed to meet up with an ally to fight in the Onigashima battle.
Roger and Oden’s trip continues
“One Piece” chapter 968 will show Roger and his crew heading to Fishman Island, and sure enough, they found two Poneglyphs. With their finds, Roger proved that he could trust his instinct because, after all, he really found valuables by choosing to land on Fishman.
However, Toki got sick, and she was brought to Wano. Oden wants to stay with his wife, but Toki wants him to finish the adventure with Roger. To make sure he will go back to the ship and sail again, Toki told Oden that she would divorce him if he will not continue the journey.
Thus, Oden went back to the ship and traveled with Roger pirates. Nekomamushi and Inuarashi were tasked to care for Toki instead. They are on their way to search for another Poneglyph to get all 4. They set out to the last island, and they finally discovered the legendary One Piece.
Return of Luffy
As they already found what they have been looking for in “One Piece” chapter 968, Kozuki Oden will return to Wano and reclaim his throne as the leader. For a brief time, Kurozumi Orochi and Kaidou will plan to oust Oden and rule Wano by themselves, but they will fail.
The flashback that revealed Oden’s story would end in “One Piece” chapter 968, and it is likely that Luffy, Zoro, Brooks, and Franky will return with Nami and Chopper. They will be celebrating the new year, so they will be feasting on food when they reappear again.
Roger pirates and crew disbands
Before the story returns to the present in “One Piece” chapter 968, fans will see Roger and his crew breaking up first. Since they have already achieved their goal of finding the truth about the Void Century and locating One Piece, the pirates will go on separate ways.
