It would appear that while the Straw Hats are making their way towards Wano, the rest of the world are moving on in trying to fulfill their respective roles. In the upcoming “One Piece” Episode 879, world leaders will be attending a summit called the Reverie to decide the future. Many allies of the Straw Hats will be in attendance and Coby will make quite the heroic appearance.
As TheAnimeScrolls reports, “One Piece” Episode 879 will be titled “To the Reverie – The Straw Hats’ Sworn Allies Come Together.” This event will lead to some momentous decisions in the future and will involve many of the friends that the Straw Hats have made over the course of their adventures. There are Vivi and her father, to start with, who are princess and King of Alabasta, respectively.
Then there are the princes, princess, and King of the Fishmen kingdom. Some members of the revolutionary army will also be coming, but not in an official capacity. All of them will be entering a place where they are all vulnerable to getting killed because the Marines will be there, as well. The event will be surrounded by people like Coby, who will also appear in “One Piece” Episode 879.
For those who don’t remember, Coby is basically the first person that Luffy comes across after setting off on his journey to become the king of the pirates. His dream is to become a marine and he seems to have made this dream come true in “One Piece” Episode 879.
As for when fans will be able to see this for themselves, “One Piece” Episode 879 will be airing on April 7. This episode will be tugging a lot on nostalgia strings, so for anyone who wants to be reminded of how long this anime has been going, watching this segment should be a must.
