The fact that Komurasaki is Hiyori should have been obvious to anyone paying attention to the Wano arc, which makes the revelation in the previous chapter of “One Piece” rather dull. However, the question moving forward is still going to be the same regardless of how the presentation was done. Is Hiyori a naïve girl who requires strong men to protect her or is she actually ruthless? “One Piece” Chapter 939 might provide the answer.
As OtakuKart reports, the previous chapter of the manga hardly offered any satisfying developments for fans to chew on. In fact, all it did was confirm something that everyone already knew and piss off all the Zoro fans taking issue with him passing out after one measly stab wound. Granted, he was stabbed with a giant scythe, but readers argue that he should have shrugged it off. Perhaps “One Piece” Chapter 939 will reveal the reason he was nerfed, but who knows?
In any case, the passing out could also be a metaphor with regards to the swordsman falling in love with Hiyori. As to whether or not this is true remains to be seen, but it might be preferable to Zoro simply passing out due to an oversight. Suffice to say, “One Piece” Chapter 939 has a lot to live up to.
If Hiyori does end up being a manipulative woman who is trying to make Zoro her protector in order to gain access to the pirate alliance, she might be more dangerous than Orochi. The current shogun might be physically strong, but he is evidently inept and emotionally unstable. It might be revealed in “One Piece” Chapter 939 that Hiyori plays a much bigger role in Kaido’s plans.
Regardless of whichever the story goes, “One Piece” Chapter 939 will need to deliver the goods when released on April 15. The previous chapter did not and it would be unfair to readers to have two bland chapters in a row.
