While the manga’s next chapter has been delayed, leaks for “One Piece” Chapter 929 have been circulating the web and causing fans to feel the jitters. It would seem that CP0 will make an appearance as the secretive government group meets with Orochi. What’s more, Kaido’s presence will be a major deterrent to them responding to the shogun’s rudeness. It would also appear that Sanji and Law will find themselves being confronted by subordinates of the yonko.
This particular development requires some context, so it’s worth pointing out that the World Government could not interact directly with Wano before. Instead, they left it up to Dofflamingo to handle their interests in this respect. In “One Piece” Chapter 929, it’s clear that the government is now dealing directly with the country and they are not the ones holding the cards.
Orochi will be making demands from the representatives sent to meet with him, which would be CP0. Fans of the series will remember this particular group during the water city arc when Robin had to surrender in order to save her friends. Luffy’s fight with the strongest of CP0’s members likely rivals that of his bout with Katakuri as one of the most exciting in the series. “One Piece” Chapter 929 will provide this point of nostalgia.
As for what Orochi wants from the government, it would seem that warships are on the order list. What is more interesting, however, is the shogun’s demand to be given Vegapunk himself. This should prove complicated due to the scientist’s value to the government and his potential use by Kaido. “One Piece” Chapter 929 will definitely be worth watching out for.
Sanji and Law will also be running into a spot of bother in “One Piece” Chapter 929 with the yonko’s subordinates being sent to assassinate the Straw Hat’s resident cook. They would be courtesy of the most beautiful courtesan in Wano.
“One Piece” Chapter 929 is set to come out next year. Jan. 9, to be precise, so it isn’t too long of a wait.
