‘Once Upon A Time’ season 6’s episode 13, titled “Ill-Boding Patterns,” is set to feature an imminent battle between Beowulf and Rumplestiltskin. Meanwhile, Emma will face off against Gideon, who has resumed to hunt her down.
The synopsis for episode 13 posted on TV Guide states, “Gideon (Giles Matthey) resumes his mission to kill Emma (Jennifer Morrison), so Gold (Robert Carlyle) takes steps to protect Gideon from the taint of dark magic.
Meanwhile, Robin (Sean Maguire) forms a questionable alliance; Emma learns Hook's (Colin O’Donoghue) been keeping a secret; and in a flashback, Beowulf (Torstein Bjørklund) goes after Rumplestiltskin.”
Beowulf is set to appear in the upcoming episode as he hunts down Rumplestiltskin. It seems that the legendary Gaetish hero is ready to go head-to-head with Rumple himself. In the promotional photographs posted on Buddy TV, Rumple is seen giving Baelfire (Brandon Spink) a dagger while meeting in the woods.
They then discover that someone else is in the woods with them. Beowulf is seen in full battle armor as he whips out his sword, prepared to attack.
Meanwhile, Emma will have to deal with Gideon as he resumes his mission to kill her. The promo opens to Gold telling Gideon, “Once you give in to darkness, it’s almost impossible to resist its call.” Gideon vows, “I have to defeat her.”
By the end of the promo, Gideon commands Gold, “You are going to help me fulfill my destiny whether you want to or not.” Gold looks concerned as he is left with no choice.
As if that is not enough for Emma to face, she will soon discover that Hook has been keeping a secret from her. In the promo, Hook admits his fears saying, “If I tell he what I did, she’s not gonna want to marry me.”
‘Once Upon A Time’ season 6’s episode 13, titled “Ill-Boding Patterns,” is scheduled to air on ABC on March 19, 2017. It was directed by Ron Underwood and written by Andrew Chambliss and Dana Horgan. It will be followed by episode 14, titled “Page 23," written by David H. Goodman and Brigitte Hales and scheduled to be released on March 26.
