Official retailer images of the Air Jordan 4 "Fear" have surfaced ahead of its November release. This highly anticipated reissue follows the recent Air Jordan 3 "Fear" drop, while the Air Jordan 12 "French Blue 2.0" is already making waves with a planned Fall 2025 launch.
The Iconic Air Jordan 4 ‘Fear’ Returns This November, Reviving the 2013 Classic with a Fresh Look
In the legend of Michael Jordan, the concept of "fear" rarely surfaces. Perhaps this contrast makes the 2013 “Fear Pack” unforgettable in modern sneaker history. According to Sneaker News, it could also be attributed to the rarity of multi-shoe collections that match its cohesiveness. Regardless of the reason behind its success, the Air Jordan 4 from the “Fear Pack” is set to be re-released this November, offering sneaker enthusiasts their best look yet at the retro version.
The greyscale gradient design made this pair stand out from the 2013 group. With the enduring popularity of the Jordan 4 as the model of choice for many, it’s poised to recapture that same excitement this holiday season. Although not shown in the latest images, these are expected to feature the exact narrative details from their original release, with alternating insoles that read “I’m scared of what I won’t become” and “You’re scared of what I will become.”
Following the Air Jordan 3 “Fear” re-release in 2023 for its 10th anniversary, this AJ4 reissue suggests a potential yearly “Fear” release, likely culminating with the Jordan 5 in 2025. By releasing each model separately rather than reviving the entire three-shoe collection simultaneously, the timing aligns well with their respective 35th anniversaries. For the Jordan 4, this release will likely serve as the final significant drop in its anniversary celebration, with only the Air Jordan 4 “Net” slated for a release deeper into 2024.
The Air Jordan 4 “Fear” will drop on November 9th, retailing at $210.
Air Jordan 12 ‘French Blue 2.0’ Set for Fall 2025, Joining a Packed Lineup of Retro Releases
The anticipated 2025 Jordan releases list continues to grow, adding another potential hit inspired by a beloved retro colorway.
The Air Jordan 12 “French Blue 2.0” is rumored to be released in Fall 2025, offering a slight variation on the 2004 classic. Featuring a color scheme of White/French Blue/Metallic Silver/Varsity Red, this updated version retains the familiar French Blue color-blocking with a touch of red on the mid-foot piece at the end of the reptile-textured mudguard. Additionally, the interior lining will now be blue, contrasting to the original’s clean white lining.
While promising on paper, the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue 2.0” faces stiff competition from the extensive lineup of Jordans slated for release next year. The packed list includes the Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic Reimagined,” the Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny,” and several other original colorways that helped establish the foundation of Jordan culture as it exists today.
According to @zsneakerheadz, this alternate Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” is expected to drop next fall.
