GATINEAU, Québec, March 20, 2018 -- NordiaSoft proudly announces that it was selected to provide its Software Communications Architecture (SCA) solution for the development of a test bench for the Direction Générale de l’Armement (French DoD) dedicated to compliance of radio platforms and waveforms as part of the CONTACT program.
Working with the French firm KEREVAL, which specializes in software test engineering and is responsible for the development of the compliance test bench, NordiaSoft will provide its SCA Core Framework as the reference implementation on which part of the compliance and interoperability tests will be validated. NordiaSoft tools are also to be used for the development of the many artifacts and tests required for the test bench.
‘We are pleased to work with NordiaSoft on this important project for the DGA. Their SCA Software Suite and their deep knowledge and expertise with the SCA greatly facilitates our work. This project is a great opportunity for us to extend our activities of interoperability tests to the radio communication field in the defence context’ says Abdel Tamoudi, CEO of KEREVAL.
The NordiaSoft SCA Software Suites provide complete solutions for the development of SCA v2.2.2 and v4.1 systems. The Suites include a set of tools to create SCA models, automatically generate all associated source code, create HMI software, and to monitor and debug SCA systems. They also include the SCA Core Framework, as well as a full list of SCA Devices implementing the Joint Tactical Networking Center (JTNC) and the Wireless Innovation Forum (WInnF) APIs. The NordiaSoft SCARI Software Suite supports SCAv2.2.2, while the NordiaSoft Embedded Component (eCo) Suite supports SCAv4.1.
“As the new French military tactical radios shall respect Software Defined Radio standards, a test bench to ensure the interoperability between platforms and applications was needed. The team of KEREVAL and NordiaSoft is perfectly suited for the task: KEREVAL as specialists in Test and Verification procedures and NordiaSoft as world recognized experts in SCA” says Jean Phillippe Delahaye, French DoD Compliance Testing Lab manager.
