It sure was a great start as lots of changes and new things came out of our way and flooded our television screens as 'New Girl' Season 5 premiered last January 5. The new episode of the New Girl brought us many new things that excited us the most for the upcoming episodes.
First on the list is the fact that the boys can now be finally considered big boys as they have upgraded their lives by way of Nick (Jake Johnson) finally taking a huge leap by investing in a bar, Winston (Lamorne Morris) finally employed, and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Cece (Hannah Simone) finally committing on a long term relationship by getting married.
But even with all that changes happening, expect that some crazy stuff will still happen that will prove to everyone that they are still the same old funny, crazy people that they always were. To prove, everyone saw how Nick mistakenly kidnapped a lady from the airport whom he thought was Cece's mother, Jess stole a scooter, and Winston did a prank.
On the other hand, it will be hard to continue 'New Girl' without the new girl but the team surely handled it well based on how good the ratings on the first episode was. Also, with so many things happening to the boys right now, it will surely patch the gap that Jess (Zooey Deschanel) has temporarily left behind who is still on maternity leave.
And speaking of Jess, a man from her past is rumored to make a visit on the upcoming episodes. David Walton will reprise his role as Dr. Sam Sweeney, who we last saw on season 2 when he mistakenly thought that Jess was his blind date.
Another character will also be welcomed to the show as Lucy Punch will play the role of a school administrator who Jess will have to deal with.
Many things are in store for us a new episode of New Girl will air on January 12 on Fox.
