Everyone is happy and rejoicing as the new girl Jess is now back fom jury duty. The hit TV series 'New Girl' is back with an all new episode this week and it was also their 100th episode. Unlike other TV series that presents you with a major event on their 100th episode, 'New Girl' on the other hand, kept it simple with the episode titled 'Goosebumps Walkaway'.
This week's episode circled around two stories, one with Jess being back and trying to find out who the juror she had a connection with, and two with Reagan and Nick having difficulty saying goodbye to each other. So here is a recap.
After weeks of not seeing Jess on the show and see a different new girl in the loft, we finally saw Jess again and her presence was really welcomed. Now, many thought that Jess and Reagan might clash knowing that the two had a connection with Nick, but instead it was the total opposite. The two bond when Jess need help finding the real name of Juror 9C which she thinks she had a connection with. And so Reagan was very happy for the distraction and helped Jess.
And while Jess and Reagan are all busy finding clues and connections to Juror 9C, Schmidt and Cece are gearing up for their upcoming wedding and so they decided to enroll themselves into a dance class that Winston is in. When they get there, Schmidt is utterly appalled at the lack of choreography or organization. The other benefit of the Schmidt Hates Freestyle Dancing plot is that it gives us a surprisingly strong and admirable statement of strength from an unexpected source — Winston! Confronting Schmidt about his insecurities, Winston implores Schmidt to stop worrying about what other people say.
Good job Winston! Now on to Reagan and Nick this time. Reagan leaving is inevitable now that Jess is back and Nick is trying his best to make his goodbye memorable by coming up wtih what he calls a "gosebus walkaway".
As Reagan gets ready to leave, she tries to say good-bye to Nick in the loft bathroom, which leads to an inevitably disastrous attempt at Nick's goosebumps line. After all of his failed drafts — "stop thinking this is good-bye, and start knowing it is" — Nick settles on "Sayonara, Sammy," and then tries to follow through with a pre-planned exit to the left. Except he's in the bathroom, so his exit options are the shower stall, the sinks, or the urinals. Needless to say, it is a goosebumps-free moment.
So that's bascally it for this week's episode. Stay tuned for more updates.
