New Details About Days Gone Released, Gameplay Footage Now Available

Days Gone.JeuxActu/YouTube

Days Gone is one of the most highly-anticipated video games that is scheduled to come to the PS4 as an exclusive title. However, it seems the game has gone quiet of late, leading to many speculations of development troubles. Fortunately, it would appear that there was nothing to worry about since more details about the zombie shooter have just been released, including gameplay footage.

This development is a big deal, especially for those who are fans of the zombie genre since Days Gone promises to be one of the most thrilling examples of its kind. With hordes of the undead barreling towards the players World War Z style, it certainly ups the ante compared the shambling corpses that are normally seen in these types of games.

Adding to the hype are new details about it that include large cities and dynamic weather, Gaming Bolt reports. Of course, those are pretty much expected in open-world titles, these days. Fortunately, there are also other details that include the enemies in the game and how it’s simply not possible to finish the game without killing anyone.

In addition, a Game Informer video the features up to 41 minutes of gameplay was also released, which showcases some of the best things about the upcoming game. The clip provides viewers with a glimpse into what they can look forward to when Days Gone finally releases, which includes bases, merchants, combat mechanics and so on.

As Comicbook.com notes, many of the enemies in the game will be made up of humans. This is on par for the course with any good zombie property since desperation and the need for survival will often push people to extremes. In fact, players will likely have more reason to fear and despise other humans in Days Gone than they would the so-called Freakers.
