A lot of twists definitely await fans once “NCIS” season 16 airs this month. For one, Special Agent Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Dr. Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) will somehow end up in jail in one of the episodes.

Valderrama recently shared a behind-the-scenes photo of his character and Palmer. In this scene, the two are not only behind bars but they also have bruises, which hints they have been in trouble. Fans would agree that seeing Torres locked up is quite not surprising. But it is not the same with Palmer, which makes it interesting what misfortune will they encounter in “NCIS” season 16.

As expected, Valderrama did not reveal any detail on his social media page. But the actor teased, “I blame Palmer.”

Following Valderrama’s social media page reveals other possible “NCIS” season 16 spoilers. For one, he is seen on the large screen inside MTAC in full battle gear, indicating that he will be sent in another military base outside the United States.

The actor also confirmed that his face flashing in MTAC is a scene from the “NCIS” season 16 opener. With that hint in mind, Torres's out-of-the-country assignment is most likely linked to their mission of finding Director Vance (Rocky Carroll).

It can be recalled that season 15’s cliffhanger involved the NCIS director. He was kidnapped by Nigel Hakim (Pej Vahdat). Jack Sloane (Maria Bello) is certain that Hakim was her captor in Afghanistan who tortured her for intel killed her teammates as she watched. “NCIS” season 16 opens with the agents learning about Vance’s situation; however, they remain clueless as to where Hakim brought their director.

Another dilemma at the start of “NCIS” season 16 is the fact that Hakim is a well-liked humanitarian from the United Kingdom. And it was previously assumed that Sloane’s captor was already killed in a drone strike. It will be up to the NCIS agents to connect the dots and save Vance once “NCIS” returns on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. on CBS.
