“NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 20 will have Elvis Bertrand (Tom Arnold) returning to the show, a treat for longtime fans of the police procedural. Arnold’s presence in the series has always been met by general positivity as the plotlines involving him is quite interesting to follow.
So what brings the hacker back in the circle of Pride (Scott Bakula) and the rest of the team? Well, according to the synopsis of “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 20, Bertrand will be seeking the help of his old friend to clear up his daughter’s name, CarterMatt reported.
Apparently, the girl has been linked to a murder investigation. There’s not much to go from the blurb of “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 20 other than this fact. Fortunately for Bertrand, Pride is now back to roaming the streets as the assignment reshuffling got him working directly with the squad again.
The problem here is Bertrand himself. While this is just speculation at this point, it’s possible that the hacker may employ some illegal means of proving his daughter’s innocence in “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 20.
Tampering the system or hacking the authorities’ database are just some of the underhanded methods that Bertrand might launch. If so, then he’s going to create more headaches for everyone involved, particularly for his daughter and Pride. As for the titular agent, he seems to have somewhat healed from all the ordeal he suffered lately. From surviving an assassination attempt to the murder of his father, Pride appears to be doing okay for someone who went through some harrowing life events. One of the reasons for Pride’s endurance is his work. And with Bertrand personally asking for his help in “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 20, another distraction has presented itself to keep the agent from his dark thoughts. Fans can watch the upcoming release on April 16.
