The Pro-heroes’ assault on the Paranormal Liberation Front will continue in “My Hero Academia” chapter 269. This time, Mirko and her team might finally confront one of the strongest villains in the series, Shigaraki.
‘My Hero Academia’ chapter 268 recap
Instead of continuing Dabit and Hawks’ fight, “My Hero Academia” manga’s plot shifted focus to the Mirko and Endeavor as they dealt with the numerous Nomus sent their way. It was Kyudai Garaki’s tactic to keep them occupied and buy him some time as he tried to speed up the process of powering up of Shigaraki.
Endeavor, Crust and the others were in a hurry to defeat the numerous Nomus they face. However, it wasn’t an easy feat since their opponents were also doing their best to fight the heroes.
Mirko eventually entered the chamber where Shigaraki was located. Upon her entrance, she immediately felt that something was off.
“As soon as I entered the room, my body immediately reacted,” Mirko said to herself. “My ‘Rabbit’ instincts are screaming this can’t happen, don’t let it happen. This thing cannot exit the vat, guard it at all costs.”
Mirko was referring to Shigaraki, who was placed inside a vat by the doctor. Apparently, Shigaraki is still in an unconscious state and is yet to “wake up.”
To prevent Shigaraki from waking up, Mirko attacked the vat. Based on Dr. Garaki’s reaction, Shigaraki is in a critical phase of his power-up process and attacking the vat will probably have negative consequences on the villain.
Meanwhile, Endeavor and his team finally dealt with the numerous Nomus they were facing. They arrived at where Mirko was just as she tried to destroy the vat containing Shigaraki.
After Mirko’s attack, the vat seems to be on the verge of breaking into pieces. As the other heroes approached, Mirko told them about Shigaraki being inside the vat. “Whatever happens, don’t let Shigaraki wake up,” she said.
‘My Hero Academia’ chapter 269 predictions
“Boku no Hero Academia” 269 is expected to continue where the previous chapter left off. That is, the Pro-heroes who came to help Mirko will have to deal with the vat containing Shigaraki.
However, it is too early in the arc for a powerful villain such as Shigaraki to be captured. There is a good chance that he will somehow awaken in “My Hero Academia” chapter 269 just as the heroes are about to destroy the vat.
Another possibility is that “My Hero Academia” 269 will also show what happened to Dabi and Hawks’ fight. Previously, Hawks was injured due to Dabi’s sneak attack. However, it won’t be that easy to take the No. 2 Pro-hero down and their fight is still likely to continue.
