“My Hero Academia” Season 4 is already creating a buzz despite the fact that the current season has yet to end. However, since season 3 is nearing its conclusion, it’s understandable that fans of the hero-oriented series are already discussing what paths the anime will take moving forward.
As of now, season 3 is expected to end in the "Provisional Hero License Exam" plotline, which still has four more episodes left before its completion, Otaku Art reported. “My Hero Academia” Season 4 will pick up from this, as well as add a few spicier arcs in order to catch up to the manga.
There are two main things that fans of the shonen anime are looking forward to when “My Hero Academia” Season 4 starts. First is the "Overhaul" arc, which is considered to be the zenith of the manga so far. It’s even being hailed by some as superior to "The All for One vs. One For All" plotline, a bold claim given how well-written this arc was.
The second reason why fans are excited about “My Hero Academia” Season 4 is the introduction of the U.A. Big Three. This small faction includes Mirio Togata, also known as Lemillion, who is considered to be the successor of All Might.
There’s also the fact that “My Hero Academia” Season 4 will have Chisaki as its antagonist, a character who even went against the League of Villains. This means that there will be three major sects who will be vying for the position of power, something that will certainly add more action to the series.
And through this conflict, showrunners will introduce more details regarding the quirks that each hero exhibits, exploring avenues of powers that the hero might choose to follow. Showrunners have yet to announce when “My Hero Academia” Season 4 will air but it’s expected to drop sometime around the summer of 2019.
