The previous chapter of “My Hero Academia” began in quite the entertaining note, with Bakugo trying to bring out the hidden Quirk in Deku by beating him up. Naturally, this didn’t work, and so they decide to simply talk things out. The hot-headed rival then brings up the possibility that the manifestation of the Quirk might have something to do with All-For-One. Could Deku be slowly becoming the villain’s puppet starting in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 218?
As OtakuKart reports, the next arc of the series might begin in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 218, with new threats finally being introduced. Seeing students fight each other in mock battles is good and all, but none of them were ever in any real danger of death. This is different compared to fighting villains who would have no qualms eliminating even children.
It has also been a long time since Tomura Shigaraki has made a move and it’s about time that he shows himself again. There is still the matter of Hawks to deal with, after all, and also the point of Gran Torino’s mission. All of these mysteries are still up in the air and they could be addressed in part when “My Hero Academia” Chapter 218 comes out.
Suffice it to say, the story of the manga is really heating up, with many of the villains and heroes seeming to have their own issues to deal with. Todoroki’s family certainly has its fair share of disputes to get over. This isn’t even mentioning the possibility that there could be another son out there posing a threat to everyone else. One can only hope that these will be addressed in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 218.
In any case, fans will find out what will happen soon enough when “My Hero Academia” Chapter 218 is released. That would be on Feb. 25, for anyone wondering.
