One of the central points in the lore surrounding “My Hero Academia” is the fact that One-For-All is a Quirk that stockpiles other Quirks to make it stronger. So far, fans have only seen the strength aspect of the ability through All Might and Deku, which is already impressive. However, it would seem that Deku’s case is special in that he can use the Quirk of previous holders who had abilities on top of One-For-All. This is the rumor regarding “My Hero Academia” Chapter 213, at least.
A lot of publications like TheAnimeScrolls predict that the match between 1A and 1B will end due to the fact that Deku lost control of his Quirk and had to be restrained. What’s more, it had to be done by his teammate Uraraka and Shinso who is part of the other group. Taking these factors into consideration, this would be the natural course of events in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 213.
However, there have been reported leaks going around the web suggesting that this will not be the case, at all. In fact, these rumors indicate that the match will actually continue in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 213. On top of that, there have been rumblings that the black whips that came out of Deku’s arms are actually the Quirk of the fifth user of One-For-All.
The Quirk that All Might passed down to Deku was basically possessed by many others in the past. Some of them were without Quirks while others did. It’s said that the vestige who appeared before Deku was a user who did have his own Quirk when he received One-For-All. The leaks suggest that all of this will be revealed in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 213.
In any case, readers will only have to wait until Jan. 21 to learn the truth for themselves. They won’t want to miss “My Hero Academia” Chapter 213.
