Movement Network Eyes Institutional Investment with Potential MOVE ETF

Movement is a network of modular move-based blockchains, representing the next generation of blockchain technology. It powers the fastest and most secure layer two solutions on Ethereum.

MOVE ETF Filing

REX-Osprey has filed with the SEC to list a MOVE ETF, looking to introduce the Movement ecosystem to U.S. investors via traditional financial channels. Following the launch of Movement's Public Mainnet Beta, which has already secured $250 million in Total Value Locked (TVL), if approved, the ETF would allow investors to gain exposure to MOVE through standard brokerage accounts and retirement accounts, which could drive institutional investment into the Movement ecosystem.

Mainnet Beta Launch and Infrastructure

The Movement Network, a layer-2 Ethereum network based on MoveVM technology, seeks to maximize smart contract efficiency and security. The Public Mainnet Beta launch features permissionless deployment of smart contracts, full user onboarding, and Ethereum settlement with a canonical Movement bridge facilitated by LayerZero. This infrastructure enables assets like MOVE, USDT, USDC, wBTC, and wETH to be bridged to the Movement chain, a major step toward integrating MoveVM into the Ethereum ecosystem
