Mitch Cox Joins Derby Building Products as Senior Vice President of Sales

Quebec City, Quebec, Oct. 17, 2017 -- Derby Building Products, manufacturer of the Tando and Novik brands of exterior cladding products, announces Mitch Cox as the Senior Vice President of Sales.  In his role, he will oversee the rapid growth and expansion of Tando® and Novik® brands of shake and stone in the U.S. and Canada.

 With more than 30 years of sales and sales management experience, Cox was most recently a partner with Principia Consulting, where he was responsible for the development of several category management tools and processes across the building products spectrum.  Prior to that, he was  Senior Vice President - Global Sales with the Trex® Company, a world leader in composite decking.  Under his leadership, Trex market share grew from the low 30s to the low 40s and he was integral in creating many of the downstream and internal programs that are the benchmark in the industry and still in use today. Mitch also spent more than 20 years in sales and sales management in the food industry with Kraft General Foods Corporation and Kraft- Nabisco.
