Miranda Lambert is scheduled to play at the Cheyenne Frontier Days music event this coming July. CFD Contract Acts chairman Randy Krafft said that the inclusion of the “Tin Man” singer is a logical choice for them given that she’s always been popular among country crowds.

But it’s not just ordinary people that are enamored with Miranda Lambert and her songs but music icons as well. Kelly Clarkson recently covered Lambert’s “Tin Man” single during her “Meaning of Life” Tour last Thursday, Taste of Country reported.

Putting her own twists and flair to the heartbreaking piece, Kelly Clarkson sang the song with emotions and it translated remarkably well with the crowd. “[Miranda Lambert] is one hell of a writer. I hope I did it justice, Miranda. I love that song … I was cleaning out my closet and I had my phone on and that came on and I was like, ‘Whaaaat?’ I was bawling. I was a sobbing mess,” Clarkson said.

While this isn’t confirmed information, it’s being speculated that Miranda Lambert is referencing Blake Shelton in the “Tin Man” single. It can be recalled that the country singer wrote the song after she and Shelton parted ways, CountryLiving reported.

The lyrics of the song also hints at this fact with multiple lines alluding to the heartbreak that Miranda Lambert felt in the subsequent months that followed the separation. Although both Lambert and Blake Shelton said that they parted in good terms, the narrative surrounding the split suggested otherwise.

As rumors would have it, Miranda Lambert was linked to Chris Young when she was still married to Blake Shelton. Young disputed the rumor and said that he wasn’t going to betray the friendship he built with both stars.

Meanwhile, Blake Shelton was rumored to have been going behind the back of Miranda Lambert with country singer Cady Groves. Groves also denied the allegations.

Following their split, Blake Shelton started dating Gwen Stefani with their relationship still enduring three years after they bonded. Miranda Lambert, on the other hand, wasn’t so lucky in the romance department as her relationship with Evan Felker only lasted for six months.
