Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were rumored to have tied the knot on Dec. 23 in their home in Tennessee after photos and videos surfaced on social media. The short clips and images show the couple in a celebration that looks like a wedding. The most telling sign was probably the photo that shows the two slicing a wedding cake plus their family was present in the event.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth really surprised everyone when suddenly their wedding photos cropped up. There was no indication prior to the wedding ceremony or perhaps, the media just missed the signs that the pair was able to keep it a secret until after the intimate celebration.
While Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have not personally confirmed their marriage yet, the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, posted clear photos of the “secret” wedding thus it cannot be denied anymore. Later, Liam Hemsworth and Miley also updated their Instagram with photos of their special day.
Then again, Radar Online reported that although Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were able to secure a marriage license prior to their intimate nuptials ceremony, they are not officially married yet. the publication claimed that this is so because the two have not completed the paperwork for their marriage license yet.
The magazine stated that it was able to talk to a clerk at the Williamson County Court and was informed that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth drop by on Dec. 18 to get the license, however, they failed to finish the process so they are not considered legally married yet.
“They have 30 days after filing for a marriage license to mail in the paperwork,” the clerk supposedly told the paper.
Lastly, the clerk further said that if Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth will not return the forms before the given due date for the filing, they must reapply again to secure the marriage license.
