Microsoft Corporation brings its Copilot AI Assistant to small businesses to help them make the most of their time and expand their office capabilities. The tech giant said on Monday, Jan. 15, that consumers and start-ups or small ventures can now buy subscriptions to access its "Copilot" artificial intelligence tool.
As per Reuters, this new subscription will add more features, such as text drafting and calculations, with the help of an AI assistant. This can be used in Microsoft's common business applications like MS Word and MS Excel.
Copilot Subscription Rates
The AI subscription that Microsoft is opening for small enterprises will offer access to various business tools and AI models, including the GPT-4 Turbo, which is the latest generation model. Those who subscribe will benefit from Copilot, which is designed to help businesses grow sales beyond large enterprises.
Microsoft will offer its Copilot Pro subscription to individuals for just $20 per month. To sign up, the company said it would eliminate the requirement to have the 300-person minimum so more businesses can buy the enterprise version of the software. It should be noted that the Copilot Pro is not offered in a bundle deal with a Microsoft 365 subscription. Customers can get the premium add-on for $27 per month if they want this.
Availability and Release Date
Microsoft said its Copilot AI for individuals and small businesses is now available, with the Microsoft 365 enterprise version being released in November. "While Copilot Pro is our best experience for individuals, Copilot for Microsoft 365 is our best experience for organizations," Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft's Executive Vice President and Consumer Chief Marketing Officer, said in a blog post.
She added, "As we said earlier this year, 40% of the Fortune 100 participated in our Early Access Program, and since GA for enterprise, customers like Visa, BP, Honda, Pfizer, and partners like Accenture, KPMG and PwC are already using Copilot — which means thousands of people across industries and sectors have started working in new ways, with an AI-powered copilot at their side."
