“Manifest” Season 1 Episode 10 will be returning on Jan. 7, 2019 continuing on the mysterious journey of the passengers of Flight 828. This installment’s finale saw the death of an integral character and it’s unclear how exactly the story will move forward without him.
The death of Agent Vance (Daryl Edwards) seems to confirm the Angel of Death curse, a supernatural force that appears to take the life of whoever learns the truth about the Calling. Now that Vance is gone, Ben (Josh Dallas) will be hard-pressed at accessing information that is privy only to those working within the NSA. Will another agent be introduced in “Manifest” Season 1 Episode 10?
That remains to be seen. Right now, all seems to point out that the government conspiracy plot of the show has now been resolved. With the destruction of the lab and the possible death of Laurence (Brian Wiles), the Singularity Project is now in shambles. Of course, there’s always the possibility that someone could pick the project right up in “Manifest” Season 1 Episode 10.
But what fans are really curious about is the Calling itself. However, since the show is setting up this enigma as the main shroud that keeps the audience questioning, it’s not expected to be fully explained anytime soon. After all, even though the show has done a considerable job of exploring the plotline, “Manifest” Season 1 Episode 10 is still pretty early in the overall scheme of things.
What’s interesting to see in the second half of the first installment is how the show is going to further pit faith against science. So far, the series has done a decent job of finding a balance between the two, using its characters as a means to ground both narratives in place. With the Calling, Project Singularity’s possible survival, and Autumn (Shirley Rumierk) being a turncoat, “Manifest” Season 1 Episode 10 has a lot of avenues to explore.
