“MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 17 will be having a father-and-son reunion as Oversight (Tate Donovan) is slated to appear in the upcoming release. At the moment, it’s still unclear why Angus’ old man resurfaced again.
Here’s the synopsis for “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 17. “MacGyver and team are asked to solve a locked-door mystery when a man working inside a remote, ultra-secure international seed vault disappears.” There’s not much to go from this information other than the fact that Angus will be dealing with yet another complicated mission, CarterMatt reported.
Aside from the operation, “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 17 is also expected to develop the relationship of Angus and James. Until now, James hasn’t fully gained the trust of Angus after deciding to remain distant from his son’s life for almost two decades. However, James has slowly opened up to his son after revealing his profession to him and understands that it may take a while for the rift to fully heal.
Another relationship that will be explored in “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 17 is between Desi (Levy Tran) and the team. In the wake of Jack’s (George Eads) departure, Desi has stepped in his shoes to act as Phoenix’s combat and weapons specialist. So far, the character has been received with mix enthusiasms by fans and most are still on the fence what to make of Desi’s inclusion in the roster.
One of the main concerns by fans is the possibility of the agent to form a romantic relationship with Angus. It goes without saying that mixing romance with work – especially in Phoenix’s field of expertise – is ill-advised given that characters are prone to make poor decisions in dangerous situations. With all these internal plotlines being pushed forward, “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 17 is looking to be an intriguing story to watch. CBS has scheduled it to drop on March 8.
