As for what the episode is about, it involves Mac (Lucas Till) risking his life for a secret that Matty (Meredith Eaton) has been keeping from the team. A delicate rescue operation involving undercover agents and dangerous criminal organizations is what awaits viewers who have yet to see the episode.
As the synopsis for “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 10 declares, this segment is all about Matty’s secret finally being revealed to the rest of the group. Not only is she married, but her husband is also someone who is in deep with a criminal organization that would not hesitate to take his head if they discover his treachery.
“Matty reveals a shocking secret to the team: she has a husband who's been undercover in a criminal organization called D-Company for eight years. When his status as a CIA agent comes out, Matty needs MacGyver to find and extract her husband before it's too late,” the synopsis reads.
The episode is quite the thrilling one, as well, with plenty of action and displays of Mac’s ingenuity to entertain viewers. “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 10 might not be the best episode of the season, so far, but it certainly provides enough minutes of thrills and surprises to reward fans who watch it.

“MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 10 also features the worn-out trope of an undercover agent going dark after being in the job for too long. Other than that predictable setup, however, this is an episode that’s well worth watching.
