SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 13, 2017 -- ROK Mobile, the first social impact mobile provider will be showcasing its socially conscience mobile pre-paid offerings, including the lowest unlimited talk, text and data plan in the United States at the SF Mobile World Congress Americas at booth #1078 North Hall from September 12th to September 14th at the Moscone Center. This comes off the heels of ROK Mobile’s successful social impact showing at the United Nations for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jean-Michel Cousteau’s “Wonder of the Sea 3D” movie premiere.
ROK Mobile was honored at the United Nations by UN PGA Spokesperson Dan Thomas, for ROK Mobile’s support of SDG 14 - Life Below Water, and the company’s social impact initiative to better the planet with its mobile causes such as the #Vets2Vets homeless veteran mobile program. Vets2Vets, which is officially launching in the next 45 days, is a program where ROK Mobile along with NGO and Veteran Affairs non-profits partners will work to put a free mobile phone and service in every homeless veterans hand throughout the United States by 2018, starting with the greater Los Angeles area. For every two people that sign-up in support of Vets2Vets (Veterans-helping-Veterans), ROK mobile will donate free service to a homeless veteran for life.
