Major League Soccer (MLS) has appointed IMG Arena to provide its betting and media partners with official data feeds, content offerings, and fan analytics and marketing tools as part of a ‘multi-year’ agreement.
It is a significant expansion of the already-existing relationship between the two parties and is intended to increase the MLS's digital fan engagement capabilities before the 2026 Fifa World Cup and provide sportsbooks with a more alluring wagering proposition as the US sports betting market booms.
With the help of the "event center" platform from IMG Arena, partners can create digital products that will captivate spectators and bettors by fusing live data streams with live streaming, historical data, and other visuals.
MLS will be able to use new data metrics, insights, and graphics from IMG Arena in addition to gaming on its digital platforms, and teams will also be allowed to use that content on their digital channels.
