As a show, “Lucifer” is audacious enough as it is since it flies directly in the face of its source material. After all, the Christian religion views the figure as nothing more than a grave disfigurement in God’s perfect plan. However, an idea currently being floated around can potentially take this to another level in “Lucifer” Season 4. It does so by suggesting that God might actually be planning on letting the fallen angel back into heaven.
As the Daily Express reports, some fans believe that the meeting between Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Chloe (Lauren German) might have been part of God’s plan. Since the two have crossed each other’s paths, the supposed Prince of Darkness has become considerably more light-leaning. This could actually be elaborated upon in “Lucifer” Season 4.
Even if it isn’t, the idea makes a lot of sense when taking all of the events in the series into consideration. Since meeting Chloe, for example, Lucifer has become capable of loving and has developed some fairly complex relationships. On top of that, he even regained his wings, which should have been impossible given his punishment. Who knows what “Lucifer” Season 4 can offer in this regard?
When throwing in the fact that Chloe was supposedly a born to parents who were blessed by God to be with child, everything grows into clearer focus. There is a good chance that the creator, as presented by the show, wanted these two to meet to pave the way for Lucifer’s return to heaven. The possibility might even be floated at some point in “Lucifer” Season 4.
This makes the show’s upcoming return even more worthwhile to look forward to, then. Unfortunately, there has yet to be an official premiere date for “Lucifer” Season 4 announced. The only thing that fans know right now is that it will come out at some point this year.
