The production of “Lucifer” season 4 is apparently now focused on the 10th episode. As usual, all the plot details are still locked away but there might have been some clues indicating that a character might end up dead in the finale.
As earlier reported, showrunner Ildy Modrovich revealed on her social media page last week that they already held the script read-through session for the “Lucifer” season 4 finale. She did not divulge any plot detail but she confirmed that the plot made her cry.

Fans shared they were also feeling emotional just with the fact that “Lucifer” season 4 happened after the show was revived by Netflix following Fox’s cancellation. But one fan was worried that Modrovich might have shed tears over the finale script for a more significant reason.

The fan pointed out that the last time the showrunner said the production of the show made her cry was when they filmed Charlotte's (Tricia Helfer) death in season 3. For a brief recap, Charlotte sacrificed herself when Pierce (Tom Welling) was aiming to kill Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) and later blame it on Lucifer (Tom Ellis). Now, it is feared that a situation as serious as this one awaits in the “Lucifer” season 4 finale.
“Lucifer” season 4 episode 10 is now looking to have the biggest surprises. Aside from the tear-jerking script, its title (or part of it) was recently revealed. The writers shared a photo of the script but hid some parts of the title so only the phrase “King of Hell?” is visible. ComicBook suggests that it could be referring to a new King of Hell since a new character was also reportedly going to be introduced in “Lucifer” season 4 next year.

Though Netflix made “Lucifer” season 4 happen, major changes are in order. For one, the number of episodes was reduced by half. But the length of each episode is most likely retained to about 43 minutes.
“That’s part of what we’re going to talk to Netflix about. I think we might have a bit of room for flexibility,” Modrovich previously told TVLine about “Lucifer” season 4. “Hopefully, so if there’s a scene we love and we don’t want to cut it, we’re hoping that now we won’t have to.”
