VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Dec. 05, 2017 -- In the season of giving, it’s easy to find companies that make philanthropy a priority. From volunteering to financial contributions, businesses are looking to give back to the Hampton Roads area before the year ends. But for Window World of Tidewater’s father-and-son owners, Dave and Josh Reed, charitable giving is a way of life year-round.

Window World of Tidewater opened its doors in August of 2000, and since then the company has established itself as the exterior home remodeling partner for local homeowners. In fact, you’d be hard-pressed to watch television from 7:00 – 9:00 pm and not see the brand’s windows, doors or siding commercials. And after 17 years in the market, the owners attribute their success to the customers.
“We have the greatest customers,” stated Josh Reed. “We are where we are today because of them. So, it is with a grateful heart that we want to help others in our community as we continue to expand.”
The Reeds believe that paying it forward is something that should happen every season, not just during the holidays. This belief is evident by their many contributions to the community, such as its platinum sponsorship of Saving Kids Dreams and support of Daniel’s Grace Charity Oyster Roast. As a two-year product sponsor for the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, the Reeds provided over 70 of windows, patio and garage doors to the event which has raised over $2 million for the organization.
“We love the Hampton Roads area,” added Dave Reed. “So long as our doors are open, we will continue to give back to those in need to help our community grow.”
Currently, Window World of Tidewater is collecting children’s toys as a supporter of the ForKids Christmas Toy Drive. The store will be taking toys until December 7, to drop off the following day.
