“Line of Duty” season 5 continues on the storyline around the mystery of who is the crime boss known only as “H” in the series. However, the latest episodes might have contained some easter eggs that eagle-eyed fans have successfully spotted.
The supposed hidden clue was seen in “Line of Duty” season 5 episode 3 that aired last April 18. The highlight of the episode was a raid on a compound believed to be the center of the organized crime group’s sex trafficking operations.
Prior to the raid, members of the police anti-corruption unit AC-12 were briefed showing the structure of the building. Shortly after “Line of Duty” season 5 episode 3 aired, several fans took to social media pages their interesting discover. The raided buildings, seen in a bird’s eye view shot, make up a couple of letter H.

Many fans believe that it was not a coincidence that those buildings show the letters that signify the series’ most wanted yet mysterious antagonist. With the presence of letter H’s, some viewers are thinking that there could be more than one big baddie in “Line of Duty” season 5.
The current installment only has two episodes left. But it can be recalled that BBC has ordered “Line of Duty” season 5 and season 6 in 2017. So if the show decides to expand the storyline by introducing an all-new villain, it has the ability to do so.
Meanwhile, a recurring suspicion among fans and the characters in “Line of Duty” season 5 is that H could be Supt. Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar). AC-12 is focused on identifying corrupt police officials but their latest developments have led them to focus on the organized crime group.
If “Line of Duty” season 5 would eventually reveal that H has been very close to the police unit as he is Hastings, it would be one shattering revelation that sets up the show for season 6. New episodes will arrive on Sundays at 9 p.m. on BBC.
