Secrets will be unravelled and relationships will be put to test in tonight’s new episode of the hit TV series ‘Limitless’. Curious what will happen tonight? Read on and you shall see. Spoilers ahead!
The official synopsis for episode 17 titled “Close Encounters” reads,
“Brian and Rebecca are placed under quarantine by the CDC after being exposed to an unknown substance after investigating a citywide blackout. Also, trust issues arise after Rebecca catches Brian using his secret stash of NZT.”
Judging from the title itself, Rebecca and Brian will be in close encounters with each other, and of the reason for that is because of the two getting exposed to some harmful unknown substance while they were working on a case.
This two being in close proximity will be very hard for Brian as there are secrets he knew that makes it hard for him to face Rebecca without feeling guilty. Remember in last week’s episode, Brian found out that his handler Sands, killed Rebecca's father, and the orders were carried out by Senator Morra.
In a teaser released by the team, Brian is seen arguing with his alter ego. Brian says, "Dude, what am I supposed to do? You know when I'm around her, all I can think about is I know Sands murdered her dad. That the person who killed him is the same one keeping me alive. But can I tell her that?"
His alter-ego replies, "No, because that would mean you would have to tell Rebecca that you were Senator Morra's mole in the FBI, which would mean losing the enzyme, your immunity, my freedom, my life and even if you found some way to dodge all that, you'd have to go back to being just Brian."
What makes matter even worse is that Rebecca found him using his secret stash of NZT. Way to go Brian!
Curious what will happen next? Watch and find out as "Limitless" Season 1 Episode 17, titled "Close Encounters," will be aired on March 8, 2016, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
