Lenny Kravitz still loves Nicole Kidman, and supposedly, he belatedly realized that she is really the one for him. Now, he is said to be trying to win her back to restart their romance once again.
Kravitz and Kidman dated for almost a year beginning in 2002 and they even got engaged, but it was called off as the relationship ended. The two moved on, and while the actress got married to Keith Urban in 2006, the singer remained single but very visible in the dating scene.
But after dating many women, Lenny Kravitz now sees his ex-fiancee Nicole Kidman as “the one who got away.” New Idea reported that the singer realized that she is his true love and relayed that he never really gotten over her after they broke up.
“Lenny has never gotten over Nicole,” the so-called source told the magazine. “He still holds a flame for her and he’s not letting go of the dream that they will one day find each other again.”
Kravitz already took a step to win Kidman over again. It was said that as his daughter with Lisa Bonet, Zoe Kravitz, is one of Nicole’s co-stars in “Big Little Lies,” he asked her to touch base with the 51-year-old actress and see if they can all meet together one time.
“He has asked Zoe to reach out to Nicole and see if they can all get together,” the tipster relayed. “Zoe and Nicole work together now and Lenny knows it wouldn’t be weird if they were to hang out, the three of them – so there’s no awkwardness or expectation.”
The insider added that Lenny Kravitz is aware that Nicole Kidman is happily married to Keith Urban, so he only wants to reconnect and be friends with her again. However, he has this hope that if his ex-fiancee’s marital status change, then their new-found friendship could lead to romance again.
This news followed after Kravitz told People in February that he wants to find love, but it is difficult for him. “I would really like to find love,” he told the publication. “But it’s difficult for me - being so dedicated to my art, which is not an excuse, it’s just difficult.”
Meanwhile, Gossip Cop contacted Lenny Kravitz’s side for comments on this rumor of wanting to rekindle his romance with Nicole Kidman and the fact-checking site confirmed its suspicion that the report is false. The singer’s rep was said to have found the story amusing and reiterated that there is no truth in the New Idea report.
