One of the largest lending and fintech show LendIt has announced the award finalists under various categories for the LendIt Industry Awards that bring together over 30 industry experts to judge. The award winners will be announced on March 7 at the event to be held in New York City.
The selected finalists under ‘Top Fintech Equity Investor’ category include Canaan Partners, Center for Financial Services Innovation, Khosla Ventures, QED Investors and SenaHill Partners. These VC’s or private equity firms have invested in a range of successful fintech startups and contributed to the industry's vision.
Also top ‘Fintech Women of the Year’ were recognized who demonstrated outstanding leadership, integrity, performance, and team-building within her company, while at the same time contributing to the advancement of the industry. They include Andrea Gellert, CMO of OnDeck; Jilliene Helman, CEO of RealtyMogul; Krista Morgan, CEO & Founder of P2Binvestor; Denise Thomas, CEO & Co-Founder of ApplePie Capital; among others.
Other categories like ‘Emerging Consumer Lending Platform’, ‘Top Small Business Lending Platform’, ‘Innovator of the Year’, ‘Top Law Firm’, among others were also awarded.
The judging panel will consist of top industry experts including Etienne Boillot, CEO, and co-founder of Eiffel eCapital; Matt Burton, CEO of Orchard; Ram Ahluwalia, CEO of PeerIQ; Emmanuel Marot, CEO, and co-founder of LendingRobot; among others.
The winners of the global fintech competition will receive mentorship, endorsement, and exposure from leading institutions, investors & press.
Last month, LendIt announced its collaboration with global venture capital fund 500 Startups for LendIt’s global competition for fintech startups ‘PitchIt’.
