Lewes, DE, Oct. 19, 2017 -- Legum & Norman, the resorts division, an Associa company, hosted its annual charity golf tournament to help raise money for Associa’s national non-profit organization, Associa Cares. The event was held at the Peninsula Golf and Country Club followed by a wrap party at Paradise Grill in Millsboro, DE.
125 guests were in attendance, including 80 golfers made up of local vendors, board members, Legum & Norman managers and homeowners. With the generous support of local business and vendors, as well as Legum & Norman and Associa OnCall employees, the event raised more than $30,000 for Associa Cares. The tournament kicked off with registration at 8am followed by a breakfast buffet and a shotgun scramble at 9am. The fun also included raffles, a live auction, silent auction and bidding on “baskets of cheer.”
Several holes on the course offered prizes donated by the following local businesses: Tributaries, Nagle & Zaller, Accurate Pest, R&L Construction, Armor Fire Sprinkler Service, Wawa, Master Jack and All States Construction, Tecta America and United Restoration, Ayres, Jenkins, Gordy & Almand, First Choice Services, Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, Ark Systems, Sposato Landscape, Coastline Cleaning & Pools, ETC, Palmer Brothers, Staples Insurance, Solitude, Ocean Mermaids, Manougian Insurance, Insurance Management Group, Continental Pools, Zimmerman and Sons, Coastal Services LLC, Capitol Boiler Works, Surf Bagel, King Limousine, Glen Fedale Roofing & Siding, Avery Hall, EV-Air Tight, The Falcon Group, and Oasis Travel, who donated two trips to Sandals Resorts.
